Timebase

SMS Program Terms

1. Program Overview and Mobile Opt-In

Timebase offers an optional SMS message program (“Message Program”) to send account-related and service-related text messages to users who explicitly opt in.

How you opt in: You opt in by checking the SMS opt-in box during account creation (or by otherwise affirmatively enabling SMS within your account settings), which authorizes Timebase to send text messages to the mobile number associated with your account.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to opt in to SMS to use Timebase, and you can opt out at any time.

2. Message Types and Frequency

Message types may include:

  • Account notifications (e.g., security alerts, login/account changes)
  • Booking and scheduling notifications (e.g., confirmations, reminders, cancellations, reschedules)
  • Service and support messages related to your account (e.g., important operational notices)

Message frequency varies based on your account activity, settings, and product usage. Some messages may be recurring.

3. Rates and Fees

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier plan.

4. HELP and STOP Instructions

Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@timebase.com.

Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to opt out of the Message Program. You may also use common opt-out words such as END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message confirming your opt-out, and then no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

Example STOP confirmation (sent once):

Timebase: You have opted out of SMS messages. You will receive no further messages. Reply START to opt back in. Msg&Data rates may apply.”

5. Privacy and Data Use (What We Collect)

When you participate in the Message Program, we may collect and process:

  • Your mobile phone number
  • Your opt-in and opt-out status, including date/time and source of consent
  • Message metadata (e.g., delivery status, carrier, timestamps)

7. Sharing and Selling of Mobile Information

We do not rent, sell, or share opt-in lists.
